Somewhere out there but so far away
you live your life day by day
and I'm over here doing just the same
thinking about you again and again
These wings I have, well they're broken down
holding me here firm on the ground
away from you, my happiness
The air that I breathe, the one I miss
and I never thought I'd get this far, to feel the way I do
and honesty's the way to go
so to be honest, I love you

So I'll be strong, keep holding on
wishing and waiting with a nice fake smile
You know me better then I know myself
so believe me when I say I'll never hurt you on purpose
and I'll always be here wishing and waiting...

I may not be happy, but I'm happy for you
Don't get yourself down worrying about me
