With An Ego Fed
It may take for some many years,
To realize they have been used as suckers.
And the ones who did the deceiving,
With a suckering done to do them in.
It may take for some 'years' to have it dawn,
What has been going on and on prolonged...
Has been that way without them aware.
Because someone was there prepared to feed egos.
And with an ego fed,
Very few care to be aware of what's around them.
