Witch Hunt Poem by Satish Verma

Witch Hunt

You were petrified in the
borough of my world. The otherness
and agile arms, I grant you pain.

The space and the
light in the tunnel take you to the end
of awashed black stones.

This was ample, my
abundance of hugging. Sometimes I call you
monarch, sitting high to see the dried lake.
