Wishing You'D Be Light Years Away Poem by June FeirCruz

Wishing You'D Be Light Years Away

When you hurt me I want you on a different galaxy
I want you to be light years away
I want you on a different space and time
I want you on a different reality, not mine.

The hurtful words we hurl at each other
No shrinking violet that I am
Not only makes my heart go faster
My blood pressure soars to danger.

And yet when all is said and done
Even in hating you, I still love you.
