Wishes That Cannot Be Poem by Tim Roper

Wishes That Cannot Be

I wish the wishes that cannot be
The wishes for my sweetheart and me
Lying 'neath the summer linden tree
Wishing wishes of impossability

For she is an angel, her spirit wild and free
But she is not the angel ment for me
Her purpose is nothing I can see
Her's is one of divinity

Bit still I wish the wishes that cannot be
Lying 'neath the summer linden tree
Wishing for love that cannot be
Wishing wishes for my sweetheart and me
