Wishes And Dreams. Poem by Charles M Moore

Wishes And Dreams.

Rating: 5.0

Hush now and slumber
the days at an end
pray for your future
your family and friends
dawn will come breaking
and sure as it seems
you'll go on hoping
for wishes and dreams

Nothing is written
that cannot be changed
no words are spoken
that can't be explained
knowledge will grip you
to hold your esteem
and tap at the heart
of your wishes and dreams

Drift now and sleep
no more worries today
the past has now gone
a new scripts on the way
don't get entangled
with others who scheme
to break down the door
of your wishes and dreams.
