Oh Star light

Star bright

Studded delight

Calibre

Of the night

I look upon thee tonight

Shine on thy silver and white

Flash on the magic

I shall close my eyes

And float in the breeze

To reach thy silver gleam

Oh starlight

My omnipotent guide

Take me home

Where I belong

Down yonder valley

Behind

The lake of truth

Beneath

The shade of love

May it be Africa,

America

Or Jamaica

Nor matter

Oh Starlight

My guiding light

Make this fragile heart

Sing the song of a bride

Once again

Let me leave

These tears behind

Wipe out the shadows

Crawling behind

Let me catch thy resplendent glare

And fulfill my desire

My shining knight

Most Omniscient gift
