Wisdom As Wealth Poem by Marie Kaiser

Wisdom As Wealth

Silver mist upon my back
Now I'm here I can't back track

Future is clouded by rain-bowed dreams
Streaks of color tucked in the seams

All is weightless, except my mind
The past is sober, the present is all my time

Ahead of me green roads lie
My feet kick rocks as I begin to fly

Small feats at a time seem meek to some
But in my world it's how the war is won

On I go, off the oiled street
Please follow my passion-filled beat
I promise a life full of color and treats
At times it may seem bleak but the lesson is always neat

So here I'll stand as your rock
The waves are crashing but I can mock

I'll show you all as I show myself
Everything is possible with wisdom as wealth
