Wipe Tears Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Wipe Tears

Rating: 5.0

Wipe tears

It is no cruel joke
It is master stroke
From the creator
For us poor

We count on everything
For death and decent living
With no faith
And cause innocent's death

The parents are to be blamed first
As they leave children behind with thirst
Send them for easy money
And drink at home nicely

So many may be struggling
With situation forcing
Them to live on their income
And receive the meager income

No blame to society
As it is customary
For us to shed tears
But do nothing to wipe their tears
