Winter's Love Poem by William Waterway

Winter's Love

While halfway sleeping and waking
I feel your sensual caress
Your vibrations gently sweeping my face
with the world’s finest lace
So magically fine is your makeup
so limited our time
Upon yours touching mine
there’s melting
beyond ours to define
And, in a brief moment you’ve changed
leaving your essence upon me
Your solid body against me dissolving
from heat of our mystical lovemaking
Leaving my skin – oh so moist
I become chilled as you leave
Oh the things we come to know
when there is an open bedside window
admitting the wind-driven snow
