Winter Respite In Texas Poem by Bill Grace

Winter Respite In Texas

Rating: 4.0

Yellow sunlight
fires
the grass
to a bed
of emerald green
glass,

Gnats spinning
fly
in molecule formations

young children play
with their wiener dog

the Grandmother speaks

silence

a comfortable bench

a passing car

a Winter's respite in Texas.

Nice portrayal of a winter break in Texas. Expertly painted with poetic eye. Enjoyed.
