Winter Is Here Poem by Lesten WhitePigeon

Winter Is Here

Birds in groups appear as mystical smoke in the fall time air
Lush green leaves dry, as farmers gardens go bare
Brisk winds chill as it flows north to south
Rain raged rivers thunder as it constantly sprints to the mouth
The moonlit air brings ice to puddles an steam to breath
The stars bring frost to fields
That shine like glitter when the sun crest
Leaves like bird travel distances unknown to man
Clouds will form and snow will blanket the land
Winter is here
