Winter Forest Poem by Sarah Pesta

Winter Forest

Majestic snow falling so lightly
Soft and white like feathers
Floating to Earth each day
Into a widespread of frozen land

Branches from trees are reaching out
To catch snowflakes and make them white
Adding a new color to themselves
Creating a different scenery

A lake with thick ice expands
With every cold wind gust comes
Bringing frost to ice and a reflection
To whoever looks deep enough
