Winter Beauty - Poem by Kristen Brown

Waking to a brand new day
A touch of the hand and kiss come my way
I feel the crisp winter air and I awake to see
The scene of beautiful winter day

Fresh fallen snow lies gently on the ground
With little children making angels or enchanted ice towns
With a hint of imagination the world becomes
The embodiment of heaven of someone’s dreams

A pristine beauty still and frozen
But still full of the wonder and awe of youth
The silence deafening and surpassed by the image
This world is beauty, it is my truth
