Winter Poem by Cheyenne Joyner

Winter

The snow falls on the roofs
The wind blows it across the street
The town looks white
Oh what a beautiful sight
The temperature is negative below
There is lots and lots and lots of snow
Kids bundle up
Have snowball fights
When their done they run inside
Have some hot coco and go to bed
Snow is seven inches high
Schools are closed for the day
Kids go sledding
That’s what it’s like in winter
Burr
Cold
White

A nice poem about the positive aspects of winter. I've always liked winter but, I'm quite sure I'm in the minority. A well penned poem, Cheyenne. Best wishes Richard
