Winter Poem by Bobby C.

Winter

Rating: 5.0

the cold and fierce arrival of winter,
yet something gifts me warmth,
small children playing,
in fields covered with white, cold, soft powder,
shall it be that the snow never melts,
and wonderland be here forevermore,
through the depression of coldness and dismal,
the laughter of children is of a warmth,
more powerful than the sun,
more comforting than the most homely hearth,
beneath the cottage chimney
