Wings Of An Angel Poem by Reba Hurt

Wings Of An Angel

A gentle wind blew cross the lands
Reaching out to take my daddy's hand
With the winds the angels came
Calling my dad's name out
Left behind without a dad now
He is always watching over me

Left behind the tears of his baby girl
Loving the memories of the past
His Joy and Love from the dad I've never had
Now the scent of his father-figure loving care follows me
The angel wings and angel hands
Watching over me and protecting me

On angels wings and angel hands
I see those eyes of my very best dad
Leading me to the right path wiht the shinning light
I weep every day, another life is gone
Not just any life by my dad's life
The only dad I had in my life
But he's in the best hands Both watching over me
I still feel his presence and his loving care

Remembering his voice, his advice, his everything
Hearing someone say 'I love you dad' in public hurts
I cant say that to him anymore
The memories of you will always be here
Even though your not here dady
Your still here, in my heart
I love you dad forever
Your angels wings your angel hands and eyes
I will always believe are watching over me
