Wings Poem by G J Salgado

Wings

When all was lost
A part of me died
Undeniable cost
For what was inside
Forgetting what was left behind
Loosing what was within my mind
Fading into something that I could find
A heart felt whisper behind the night skies
Told me to take my only golden wings and fly
I followed the stars of everything I felt was right
When the moon called me I listened that night!
