Windshower Poem by Manonton Dalan

Windshower

between chords and twist
of keys my breathe stretch
to a throwback moment
it soothe my; my feelings
longing to walk place again
i would like to feel dust
creep between my toes
sting of sharp needle
that fallen off an old tree

oh! lizards running to hide
beneath canopy of bamboos
as chickens scratch earth
for a lost grain blown by wind
yellowish cashew fruit swings
by dictates of casting breeze
should i reach for a taste
and let juice flow on my lips
or let alone falls to its home

i could be; yes talking to you
right now but you don't know me
for i became shadow of willow
should you smile and wonder
spare me your time if you will
for as sun burst on easterly shore
i am on my way riding wind again
do you have your umbrella in case
warmth flow within your face
