Winds Are Silent Poem by Xelam Kan™

Winds Are Silent

Farewell sweet luna;
the queen Nyx is coming
from the east,
let me fade
in these parting hours, like a candle
burns down in the wind.
O! when love fails, tales of the dead arise.
but who tells her:
'love not begins but bangs...'
And symphony of the autumn breathes in my soul,
but she says,
' in darkness
winds are silent.'

i think you meant to (and did) type breaths (noun) , but could it also be breathes (verb) ? and is there much difference? ah, the important question of the century! :) :) Nyx again. didn't i run across Nyx and her sons on PH not long ago? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - let me fade in these parting hours, like a candle burns down in the wind......................... i really like these lines, but who or what is me? is someone/thing dying here other than daylight? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - but who tells her: 'love not begins but bangs...' .............. this puzzles me, but i won't lose any sleep over it. when Nyx comes, i am not far from Hypnos' influence. ======== a worthy addition to PH, but perhaps for some of the more insightful/intelligent? readers! Ha ha. thanks for sharing. bri :)
