William Shakespeare Needs A New Word Poem by Terence George Craddock

William Shakespeare Needs A New Word

what as learned scholars
at Oxford Cambridge knew
did William Shakespeare do
when he could not find...
the exact word he needed
for a new piece of prose
be it a theme play or poetry
he was upon that moment...

passionately writing?
well Shakespeare said
'oh dear never fear' while
scratching his egg clutching his quill
poised over ink pot and parchment
pondering searching out options?
