You've been gone for so long now
Many changes have occured
The sun comes up
As the moon falls down
The stars disappear
Now the clouds join the sky
Slowly they move while darkening
Then out of nowhere the rain begins to fall
Reminding me
That with every change
Some things remain the same
With the distance between us
Holding the past behind us
There's one thing I hope
That hasn't changed
Such a small question
Comes with a powerful answer
Will we stay friends?
The answer is all I ask of
So I know to keep holding on
Or to just let go...
