Wildflowers Poem by gershon hepner

Wildflowers

Wildflowers growing from the rocks
against the odds
must swear an oath
to opportunity that knocks
before the pods
may shed their growth.
Wildflowers growing from the rocks
against the odds
are oaths of lovers,
an opportunity that knocks
before it nods
beneath the covers.
