Wicked Moon Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Wicked Moon

It is the wicked moon
That has stolen the look
Of my beloved
Pacing the sky in silence
Shamelessly boasting how
Widely it is loved

It is the wicked moon
That was jealous of my
Lover’s charm
Colluding with night I
Fear when she is alone
It may do her harm
