Why We Shot The Negro Poem by Adeosun Olamide

Why We Shot The Negro

A demon lives next house
She is a ‘’temptress’’
-Exquisite and beautiful
She is the color of light
Not black nor dirt

If Devil is Negro
-I be glad then
-Knowing blacks ain’t
Maids in heaven
