tying things to my happiness
is attaching a thick law book
to it, full of rules and
regulations to manage my
happiness
decreasing it, adding a few drops,
regulating and timing it
there is another way
Attach nothing to your happiness
let it abide and reign
and rain on no parade
let it be untouchable
unassailable, undiminishing
forever
happiness and suffering
are not bedfellows

Yes.Happiness gets blocked if there's particular rules and regulation on its way.A great write! Sounds like Shelley, the rebellious poet.
