Why The World Needs Christmas Poem by Guy Dimitri Jagodinski

Why The World Needs Christmas

Rating: 5.0

The World has always been a violent place
Wars, plagues, genocide
Death, murders, racism
Senseless crimes of hate
Hate hate hate
No joy no faith no hope
So it seems
But there is hope
And every year
Once a year
Hope Faith Joy Love and Peace blankets the world
Spirit of sharing giving and love
Overshadows the violence
The hardest of hearts
Lay down their weapons
Put a hold on committing crimes against humanity
Shield their hatred of life
And show that they can love
That they can give unselfishly
That they can for a moment have peace
Even with their enemies
The world becomes silent
Beautiful silence fills the air
Within the silence
Angels begin to sing
Men, women, and children from all over join in
The most beautiful choir ever heard
Songs of hope rejuvenates the world
With life
Yes once a year
Christmas is here
To remind us of Hope
Faith Joy Love and Peace
To reminds us of the Savoir born
Born to show us real love
By dying for us.
