Why The Candle Burns Like This?
As and when you came to this world,
There is no trick or deception!
But how many falsehood and conning
Before you leave? 1
What the hell we have done today,
To have confidence in tomorrow? 2
While you think of another love,
It feels sweetie in twenties and sixties too! 3
It won’t fly for a long time
In worn out thread – days old kite! 4
Difficult to live as a poet
by writing poems
As if dying without love! 5
While the love is lost,
Fall in love with another! 6
As long as you exist,
None cared for you;
Why the hell shawl and garland
After you leave? 7
To be or to die,
Why the candle burns like this? 8
To stay and rest,
then fly and go to a wealthy person,
Is it written on his face as gullible fellow? 9

இன்னொரு காதலென்றால்
இனிக்கத்தான் செய்கிறது.
இருபதிலும்
அறுபதிலும்.3
நெடுநேரம் பறப்பதில்லை
நைந்த நூலில்
நாள்பட்ட காற்றாடி.4
கவியெழுதி பிழைத்தல்
கடினம்.
காதலின்றி சாதல்
போல.5
காதல் போயின்
இன்னொரு காதல்.6
இருந்தவரைக்கும்
ஏறெடுத்துப் பார்க்கவில்லை.
போனபிறகென்ன
பொன்னாடையும்
பூமாலையும்.7
இருப்பதற்கா?
இறப்பதற்கா?
இப்படி எரியுதிந்த
மெழுகுவர்த்தி? 8
இருந்து இளைப்பாறி
பசையான இடம்பார்த்து
பறந்து நீ போக
இவன் முகத்திலென்ன
இளிச்சவாயன் என்றா
