Why So? Poem by Sandra Feldman

Why So?

I rhymes with why,
So I too, like you wonder,
Why I'm always asking why,
Maybe it's just not to cry,
At the impossibility,
Of really knowing, why.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

There is a French poem by Jacques Prevert called Chanson that includes the lines (loosely translated): We love and we live We live and we love And we don't know what life is And we don't know what love is. We may ask questions but we will never receive answers that satisfy. There is no question, however, that Sandracita has written another of her astoundingly lovely and memorable poems! How remarkable she is!

Thanks, Sandra. I believe so To ask questions is the beginning of wisdom and freedom for mind and soul
