Why's Poem by Michael Hinojosa

Why's

I have never felt like this,
this feeling is unknown,
im getting scared of this emotion,
but im going to let my soul roam.

Since time is short,
we have many examples of that,
we all have problems to sort,
we all deserve a little support, a little pat.

I can't let anything hold me back,
judge or criticiZe wrongly,
i have to have space for mistakes
and try to keep that room empty.

I feel that everything has a purpose,
some kind of code or order,
i see horrible things happen everyday,
how long until we reach the border?

If there is truely a higher power,
a higher existence,
what do they want us to do?
Follow along or show resistance?
I don't think anyone really knows,
i think we all need asistence.

So many questions unanwsered,
so many riddles left unsolved,
are we ever going to get to that point?
The point where everything is solved?

A pencil falls,
a soul dies out,
blank paper with no stories nor life,
people that have yet to find they're route.

Is it really all part of a master plan?
A plan that ends in more apocolypse and destruction?
Why don't they tell us what to do?
I feel we should find our own path to redemption.

Why are so few chosen to live a good life?
Why can't other do the same?
They keep they're soul and self respect
while others trade it for fortune and fame.

Unspeakable attrocities have been commited,
so many heart-striken words unsaid,
because of these things people have suffered so much,
because of this so much blood has been shed.

We all wait for this to stop,
for this to come to an end,
stop attacking and making enemies,
why not talk and make a friend?

An eternal 'why' yet to be answered...I think there should be a daily resolution not to make enemies every human should take up....nice poem...thanks
