Why I Wonder, Why? Poem by Roilynn brown

Why I Wonder, Why?

When I wonder why in my mind,
nothing becomes something automatically,
as if an unknown force was in control.

As I tried to believe with reason,
the something returned to nothing as doubt took hold.

The wisdom of the Universe took me to great heights,
of knowledge and understanding.

Rising and soaring, I finally realized to believe without reason,
allowing the doubt to fade.

Connected to the wisdom of the Universe,
no longer did I wonder why.

I now know that as nothing becomes something,
with wisdom it will never die.

Why Wonder Why?

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
With reason and doubt, limits are set to the wisdom of the Universe,
and nothing cannot manifest into something. You need not wonder why,
only believe.
