we shall meet no more, my love

nor shall ever hope to meet

for, those who have loved

have never really met.



Love is sin against God
It was so decreed by Heaven:
jealous angels once complained
' Lovers turn Earth into an Eden

when to this accursed passion they submit
seek more pleasure than Heavenly power permits
the greatest Sin the mortals commit '.


God assured the angels
now I will do this
whosoever steals this heavenly nectar
surely them will I punish

Love plays with hearts like a toy
jealous angels happy feels
we shall now shun this cursed joy
When the whole world under his pain reels.
