Why do we expect so much?
When it is not needed as such
Why do we blame whole system?
When we are to be blamed for them

We want the speedy disposal of case
We want it to be done in any case
We pass money under table
Help the system to fail and crumble

What is right and wrong way?
We have gone far away
Rich and affluent are least interested
Remaining things we have spoiled and infested

Don’t worry about nation for God’s sake
Still nothing is worsened or at stake
Keep murderers and corrupt people at bay
We may find the bright sun with its ray

Let us build the nation and adopt
Else nothing can stop it from going bankrupt
Question is irrelevant for electing right person
He can be grilled and questioned for many reasons

We have remained illiterate and unconcerned
We rise slow and don’t react until cornered
Problems were this before and may continue even after
You can feel sorry for plight or burst into roaring laughter

We are stupid not to realize the consequences
Many deaths are reported every day for instances
Farmers die, and politicians thrive
We struggle hard only to survive

We have shed blood not for only to vote
The freedom is after valiantly fought
How many people lost their lives?
Can any one not come forward for pain to relieve?

There may appear rainbow in sky
We need simply not to ask why
What can we do for our beloved country?
Are we ready to share burden and willing to carry?
