Why Do We Want To Love?
Why do we beg for love?
Why do we die without attention?
Why do we prefer to be two instead of one?
Why do we seek warmth from a body that is not ours?
Why do we want to be special in the eyes of others?
Is life a gift too precious to be spent alone?
Is being alone a thought too cold?
Do we love as we long to be loved?
Or is life simply a gift
Too great to be spent on you
and you alone.
