Why Do People Sometimes Self Suicide? Poem by Terence George Craddock

Why Do People Sometimes Self Suicide?

Rating: 5.0

people have often told me
people keep telling me
how 'what does not kill
you makes you stronger'

an observant
rational mind
must disagree

view stark naked evidence
observe what does not kill
you can leave you maimed
crippled broken the crippled

in great pain left with shattered
broken bodies beg for death
sometimes?

the crippled in great pain left
with shattered broken minds
crave beg death sometimes?
both body and mind broken
sometimes self suicides!
