Why did this happen to you?
Cause you were the one that was there
When I needed you the most
Now I don't know what I will do

Trying to remember all the times that we shared
All the happy memories
And its killing me now

I'm screaming at the top of my lungs
Wishing you were here
Cause I'm lost and confused
(Why couldn't it of been me instead?)

Oh why did this happen?
God, Why didn't you take me instead
She was the best friend a girl could have
(And now she is gone)
All thats left is memories and photographs
