Why Aren't You Asleep Yet? Poem by Radhika Karia

Why Aren't You Asleep Yet?

What are dreams to you, why arent you asleep yet?
Ive been thinking, you've been drinking or still not dead yet?

What are the floody clouds to you, arent you done yet?
Ive been thinking, you've been preaching or seriously unaware yet?

The gods dont lie, the scientists dont do a bad job too. Ive been thinking, why does the future look so gloomingly bright to a few
Slaves to the system, or slaves to the drug of a well. Ive been thinking, there is nothing worthwhile you really can sell

She was a mistake to him, he was better than her first. Ive been thinking, that you are trying to only quench your thirst
The horrors go on, the joy must go on till wee hours now. Ive been thinking, dont mind me questioning, as to who I now bow

Our senses are busy, the sights we must all see. Ive been thinking, you are searching for a destination with a fee
The nature is plotting, be kind on you way out. Ive been thinking, maybe you will be swept away without a face to pout

What are the floody clouds to you, arent you done yet?
Ive been thinking, you've been preaching or seriously unaware yet?

Wait... what are dreams to you, why arent you asleep yet?
Ive been thinking, you've been drinking or still not dead yet?
