Why is the Cross upside down?
Anchoring heart of the Sickle
Why is the Crescent severed in half- Head from Heart?
Why is the Star of David chattered to six corners?
Why is the Lotus folding back unto itself?
I pity the minds of my Generations
Lost to bullets and guns
When will the last episode air:
'Sleep My Beloved In Still Of The Night''
From The Horn to The Euphrates:
From Land of The Rising Sun to The Andes:
Pity the tiny nations in between
Torn toe to toe
Fighting for phantoms of black gold.
I pray for miracles
Are miracles possible in my life time?
I lined up in a row
The Cross/The Crescent/ The Star/ and The Lotus
The Cross has four corners,
The Crescent has two,
4 plus 2 equate to 6 corners of the Star Of David
There you have it -Harmony by numbers-
Numbers are symbols
And symbols are neutral.
But ah The Lotus
Encompasses all
In Equal Distance From Its Centre!
