Why
Why did You bring me in this earth
While I did not opt to arrive here?
Why are you opposing me
In every step I like to proceed?
Why am I put into this-
Snake and ladder game, again and again?
Why you made me a “Hit me doll”,
To be smacked and hit almost everywhere?
Why am I to witness these -
Dastardly unkind acts around?
People are murdered, women are raped
Countries are looted and houses ablaze?
Am I brought in this earth
To be grilled like a chicken roast?
Or else to witness
The tyrants and pirates' tyranny or ugly game! !
Why did You bring me in this earth
While I did not opt to arrive here?
