Whose Are The Children? Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Whose Are The Children?

Lev Tahor in these days
Is our talk of the day
Everywhere is news
Who are they?

The women and babies were subjects of order
Forcibly were flown back into Toronto
Beaten and insulted
Their belief was ignored
It's not known why and how
Who are they and what is the ‘Freedom’ as we’re taught?
We don’t see in practice
Government is
Father, Big Brother
As it is in Orwell’s
Both in farm,84

Laura in Calgary
She’s serving as Police.
She follows judge’s-order
In name of caring for children

Whose are they?
Children are placed
In care of country
Everything sound funny

The Jews and the Muslims
And also Christians
All follow the same books
What is right, what is wrong, who’re Tahors?

All the faiths sound like games
As are the judicials
Governments
Hell with them
All of them are same shit.
