Who Were You Poem by Joseph Walden

Who Were You

I am not gay
or Rasputin.

My name is Joe,
I am tired of disputing,
Manhood.

The range of my emotions,
measured in degrees
on the high sees
and deep oceans.

Trying to ride
the rip
of the
tide.

Mellow
and
dramatic
but I rage on the inside.
