sometimes in the rush of days
we forget to thank friends
for their simple sincere acts
of friendship blessing our lives

their conversation and thoughts
that enrich our lives minds souls
to think our soft thoughts feelings
of appreciation is not enough friends;

they cannot read our minds
understand inner twinkle in our eyes
this day this moment precious
is sun warmed rich ray reflections

of their friendship that warms
enriches our souls journeys
therefore take time thank friends
who have warmed our heart of days
