Who Tempted Poem by Majid Gaggi

Who Tempted

Who tempted
Who tempted you?
Who tempted you to the spring?
Was that longing to its flowers scent and perfume
Or its greener cover and the freshness of its leaves
Or ailing breezes of its air
You, who come from the sea,
Stealth and riding its thundering waves
Swallowed enough sand bead
Until you become dried desiccated for a moment
How you seduced to blow like a passing breath
You are entrenched and deeply in lust
Under the cloak of the rebellious spirit
Including your hidden desire
