Who Really Cares? Poem by Junepaulette GasrelTibbetts

Who Really Cares?

Long ago I learned,
what I had to say,
was unimportant-in everyway...
Who really cares?
Nobody cares....
The person I am- matters not at all....
The dreams, the fears...
The pain, the tears...
Who really cares?
Nobody- none at all....
If I opened my wallet-
and gave all I possess-
Yes they will come running-until all I have is spent...
But to ask for a friend- to listen to the contents of my heart...
Who cares?
No not one...
Not even a taker to help me dream...
To inspire a wish from my heart....
I guess that's just the motion of life-
When you are a nobody at all...

Yoonoos, a previous commenter, seems to stuttter. i enjoyed the poem very much; ok, ..........it was alright. how could a real 'Nobody' like you write such a nice one? ? did your sister write it for you? got anything left in your wallet? i could use a few bucks. to MyPoemList it goes. it shall have a lot of good company there. bri :) p.s. i hope you were pulling your readers' legs with this poem. not even a 'nobody' deserves to be treated so callously. some favorite lines: But to ask for a friend- to listen to the contents of my heart... Who cares? No not one... Not even a taker to help me dream... i liked the little rhyming as well.
