Who Points The Terror Finger? Poem by Jonathan ROBIN

Who Points The Terror Finger?

Who points the terror finger, who works the terror wrist
when CCTV footage can every action list?
The matrix rod is ready to fish for what remains
of freedoms once protected through over thirty reigns.
When bio tech and nano converge ubiquitous
who's sinned against, who's sinner in mask iniquitous.

In 'Land of Hope and Glory' in 'Land of Stars and Stripes'
In land of Labour, Tory, in that of media hypes,
the cause/effect conundrum no simple answers shows,
some trigger bombs, some beat scare's drum, - who most feared future sows?
While North cries foul! as innocent, South exploitation fights,
Whose is the holy message sent? What price for Human Rights?

Analysis is harder than might at first appear,
Who's raiding whose bare larder, who prays, who preys on fear?
Meanwhile pollution spreading erodes both righteous, wronged,
a thin red line Man's treading between fork Caudine pronged.
Who points the terror finger, who works the terror wrist
when CCTV footage can every action list?

Analysis is harder than might at first appear, Who's raiding whose bare larder, who prays, who preys on fear? Sighhh...This is precisely why I don't watch the news or read the paper anymore. The networks have chosen to terrorize us all with horrific footage & threats of doom. There is never a mention of any goodness or kindness left in the world, although I know for certain it exists. When confronted with the phrase Holy War, I always shudder; I do not believe that God would sanction such destruction as Mankind has wrought upon itself. I live in Oklahoma City, the site of the Murrah Federal bombing. Terrorism quickly became far too real for my own comfort. You have addressed this issue with intelligence & forethought, which is your way. A contemplative penning, dear Scribe. The fact that you elab orated so well in rhyme makes it even more impressive, he poet has penned a thought provoking write with pertinent and salient points whilst employing the usage of good grammar and keeping a steady rhyme scheme.Liked the wordplay within terror wrist and the points that what is deemed terrorism to some is indeed held aloft as merely collateral damage caused for the purpose to which it was caused by others was not lost on the reader, for instance, I have had many discussions with Irish Americans who did not and do not see the terrorist actions of the IRA bombing England and killing 3,000 civilians as terrorism nor did they feel the IRA were terrorists but freedom fighters, indeed it is a matter of which window one views the footage through of the raw, real, carnage caused in the destruction of innocent lives for the beliefs of other's living their own lives.Perhaps we may all learn from the late, great Martin Luther King, from Mandela, from Ghandi, all men who fought for their beliefs peacefully and effected positive change peacefully.Whoever condones, enables, carries out or dismisses terrorism as justifable has lost the basic tennet of being a human being able to be humane and there is no explanation for it, only excuses which are never enough to be excused. This is a shorter than usual write for you poet but there are no more words needed, you avoided graphic imagery to compound the thoughts and it worked.Well done.

Very Interesting I Shall Say. The Media is a Mirror, and destruction is the result of losers, loose their lives, damage ours and make of themselves a terror result. The Media is light, flash...As Humans light we shall seek, and hopefully one day, Point the Peace Finger!
