Who’ll Be Today My Valentine? Poem by Dr John Celes

Who’ll Be Today My Valentine?

Oh, who’ll be today my valentine?
I wish ‘tis someone who always remains mine;
I wish not for fairies, mermaids from the brine;
I hope you give me a happy time with wine!

Kiss my lips as if glued onto them;
Hug me tight with brute a force;
Talk words of love unheard of;
Make me feel the ecstasy!

This is the day most youth await;
This is the day few elders hate;
This is the day you freely date;
This is the day you could find life’s mate!

So, buck up everyone; be fast;
Forget your silly mistakes of the past;
May be in life this is your very last;
Search for your valentine in this world so vast!
