Who Is Dumb Enough To Seek Enlightenment?

Rating: 5.0

Seeking Illumination?
Are you crazy?

Let's see:
Change my diet
Be kind to animals?
Change my music?
Change my entertainment?
Change my friends?
Change my rules?
Change my language?
Change my religion?
Change children and wife?
'I don't think so, I like my life'

I'm happy with things as they are.
~The problem is that they are not what they appear to be, you're swimming frantically is a karmic sea.

The peace you seek
you'll never find!

Staying plugged in here
and to your mind, a soul in bind

Never will it come!
But achievement Unending
is a drug to some
Who would trade
their list of pleasures?
For a beggar's meager treasures

The man who sits in the park
Off elsewhere, all smiles, with the Lark

The girls who stares at the floor
While others race to illusion's door

The Saint whose life is full of bliss
Without ever having had a long kiss

Few are the holy who live life
Wholly, living for the joy
Everyday, ~BE -says Tolstoy

Who'd dare leave their old rut
Well, I would but… but… but…
