Who Cares...
Whether I am Haitian, Swedish, Chinese
Arabic, Russian, Polish, or Guyanese
American, Jamaican, Honduran, or French
Italian, German, Turkish, or English,
Rich, famous, infamous, or poor,
Ugly or beautiful you still want more.
Dumb, blind, crippled and crazy,
Zealous, overbearing or lazy,
Black, white, wrong, right
If I eat it all or take bite
Stupid, ignorant, or smart
In my right mind with a transplanted heart
With false teeth and hopeless, selling pipe dreams
Living on a mountain top or next to a stream
If I am a deaf young girl or a blind old lady
Whether I am age eight (8) to eighty (80)
Wise, powerful, loose or clever
An adulteress who can get it wetter
The average Joe, calm, or a bit to rowdy
You still couldn’t arouse me
In a Bema, coupe or Lexus
With nappy hair or a perm by Nexus
Two eyes, two ears, one titty
Or just born with a physical abnormality
Discouraged, Deranged or Distraught
Forgotten or remembered what I was taught
Truth is you really don’t care
Whether I move on or just stand here
I was born and shall surely die
That’s the truth…there’s no need to lie! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Your words are a inspiration for all women, this is the work of a true, glorious woman
