Who Can I Complain To? Poem by Shalom Freedman

Who Can I Complain To?

Who can I complain to?
And what sense does it make?

The unfairness of it all
Israel's being singled out
And obsessed with

The upside down world
In which we are accused of the evils
Our enemies are guilty of

Those who are with us and understand
They understand

But the haters will not stop hating
The enemies will not stop being enemies
The threats will not be less

Only You
Who promised us this land
The tree and the vine.
