Who Are You? Poem by Sebenzile Mamba

Who Are You?

Birds are singing
Dogs are barking
Jackals are howling
Bears are growling
Bees are buzzing
And what are you?
What sound are you making?

At first I thought you were a duck
I heard you quacking, withouth ducklings though
Then you started whining like a mosquitoo
I thought you were being yourself
But I realized there was more into this.
Then you ended up roaring like a lion, that got
me more confused, on What are you?
What sound are you making?

Now I've discovered that you just an empty page
trying to get inked by whosoever that is able to
hold a pen in his hand. you just one of us, wandering
around.
